Congratulations to Girls Tennis on Outstanding League Individual Performance

San Marino High School had another outstanding Rio Hondo League girls tennis performance.  Individual singles was won by Anessa Lee, and second went to fellow Titan Selena Wu.  Finishing third was another Titan, Margaret Piatos.  In doubles, San Marino won second (Rakel Ang and Elaine Wu) and third place (Grace Carter and Katie Kirkendall).  Congratulations

Titan Tennis Season Ends with Tough Loss to Westlake

The undefeated Rio Hondo League Champion San Marino girls tennis season came to an end with a tough loss at Westlake High School 10 – 8.  The Lady Titans had reached the CIF Division 1 Quarterfinals by defeating Orange Lutheran and San Clemente in the first two rounds of the playoffs. Titans dominate Rio Hondo League Tennis tournament

San Mario dominated the Rio Hondo League Tournament last week.  Anessa Lee won first place for singles, Katie Kirkendall and Rakel Ang won 2nd Place for doubles.  Also, Kayla Chen and Caitlin Nguyen won 3rd place for doubles.  And finally, Grace Carter an Elaine Wu won 4th Place for doubles.  Coach Melwin’s Titans completed an

Lady Titans Win 1st Round and 2nd Round Playoff Matches

The San Marino tennis team defeated Orange Lutheran 13-5 and San Clemente 11-7 in the first round and second round of the Division 1 playoffs.  With the wins, the Titans advance to the quarterfinals where they will travel to meet Westlake.   San Marino and Westlake will square off at 2 pm on Monday, November 5. 

Titans Host First Round Division 1 Playoff Match

The Rio Hondo League Champion (8-0) San Marino Titans open the CIF playoffs on Wednesday at 2 pm.   They will host Orange Lutheran who finished third in the Trinity League.  The Titans finished with an overall record of  9-4.

Girls Tennis – RHL Champions

Congratulations to girl’s varsity tennis for capturing their 8th straight Rio Hondo League championship. Also, congrats to Anessa Lee (singles) and Sabrien Lieu/Sophia Lee (doubles) for winning the Rio Hondo League Tournament championship.
